FLIES-A-WAY™ contains all natural ingredients to help repel biting insects. Diatomaceous Earth is added to help prevent fly larvae from hatching in the manure.

For best results, feed FLIES-A-WAY™ to ALL horses on your property, begin feeding 30-45 days prior to start of fly season.

Diatomaceous Earth:
Is an all-natural element used for over 400 years to help control insects. When fed, the product passes through the horses system into the manure. The sharp edges of the DE cut the outer layer of the insects exoskeleton causing dehydration.

#INGREDIENT GLOSSARY

Diatomaceous Earth is a whitish powder made up of the fossilized remains of diatoms, a type of
prehistoric, hard-shelled algae. Some owners feed diatomaceous earth to their horses to help control internal
parasites and reduce fly loads, since the sharp edges are said to penetrate the outer covering of
worms and insects, causing dehydration and death.

Garlic is one of the most widely used medicinal herbs in the world, dating back thousands of years. Many horse owners feed garlic to deter biting insects.

Brewers yeast is a source of B complex vitamins, trace minerals and is believed to discourage biting insects by causing an offensive skin odor. Brewers yeast is also a common name for a specific strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae which helps to improve fiber digestion, enhance feed efficiency and supports immune function.

MSM, Garlic and Thiamine supply essential sulfur compounds that secrete through the skin to help
maintain healthy skin and reduce oxidative stress. Allyl sulfides are odorous compounds found in
garlic that are excreted into the sweat.

Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural insect control, causes thiamine (vitamin B1) to be excreted
through the skin, repelling flies and mosquitoes. Optimum levels of B vitamins (particularly B1) in
the body seem to discourage bugs.

The B Vitamins Thiamine and Pyridoxine support the body's ability to maintain healthy skin.
